It’s a Little Musical focuses on two things:
the process, and the people.
We’re a team of industry professionals focused on creating original musicals, song cycles, and straight plays in short cycles. We do this through optimization, specialization, and passion.
The People: We're making short-form musical theatre content by bringing together our team of creative, talented people. Our goal is to create and maintain an environment where open communication, honest feedback, and transparency are virtues.
The Process: Using our collective backgrounds in composition, music production, software & game development, and musical theatre, we're optimizing the tradeoff between rapid iteration and creative refinement. By applying modern development practices with the standing tradition of theatre writing, we're developing a production workflow that lets us write, perform, record, and produce a short musical in just 3 weeks! We call it: The Theatre Jam.

When the COVID-19 Pandemic hit, a lot of our friends were out of work - the performing industry, like many others, has been hit hard. After almost a year in quarantine, everyone we knew was chomping at the bit to get involved in something creative and fulfilling. When Alex & Chase came up with the original Theatre Jam idea, they reached out to a few friends and started working. A few months later, here we are, ready to launch our first Theatre Jam project to the public! We hope you enjoy and continue to follow our journey!
