The Company

Kyle Franklin
Kyle is an American born composer. Since childhood he has had a love of film, storytelling, and music. In high school Kyle picked up his first instrument, the guitar which later led to the piano and then ultimately to composition. When it came time to go to college there was only one place to go. Kyle auditioned and was accepted to Berklee College of Music, where he would meet countless talented musicians in the form of students and professors, many of whom later became dear friends, collaborators, and mentors. Currently Kyle resides in Los Angeles California as a composer and music educator, as well as being a connoisseur of all the things life in sunny California has to offer. When Kyle is not having too much fun living life you can find him locked away in his workspace creating music for great projects with his collaborators Jasper van Dijk, It's a Little Musical, and many wonderful film makers including the Karen Twins.

Chase Harris
Driven to merge tech savvy and artistic mastery, Chase takes on a dual-role at It's a Little Musical: He uses his leadership experience to coordinate and direct at a project level, and he uses his audio engineering expertise to guide and oversee the recording and audio production process. Chase co-founded MojoFilter Media with Alex. The two met at Berklee College of Music, where Chase earned his degree in Electronic Production & Design. He also works as a freelance mixing/mastering engineer, and as the producer-half of the music duo HOLSTER. If one were to take a time machine back far enough, you could find Chase joyfulling engaging in musical theatre in high school, where he acted in various shows including Oklahoma, Footloose, Hairspray, and Eurydice. Phil Blechman
Phil is a playwright in a constant battle with gravity — fighting to stand up for what's right through his scribblings of twisted whimsy. Fueled by a frosted soul piped with regret and spiced with idealism, his fingers and wrists jot plots of suspense and wit fit for audiences craving adventure. He is an educated clown who lives in a box. All social @ForceofPhil

Alex Berner
Alex’s artistic dream has always been pretty simple: to create new things with friends. This is at the core of what led him out of his small town in upstate New York, to Berklee College of Music, where he studied Film and Video Game Composing. There he met Chase Harris, and the two formed the game & media audio company, MojoFilter Media. Alex has scored games (CANE Chapters 1 & 2, Springvale, Archipelago), documentaries (Jefferson: Then and Now), podcasts (The Switch, Breakfast in Beauclair, Are You Okay?, The Big Inside, Composer Conversations) as well as other apps and media.
In college he met his life partner, and fellow ILM member, Paige Sklar. She helped teach him about the art form that he had always wanted to do, but not yet been a part of, Musical Theatre.
Loving to live at the junction of his interests in life, Alex is always working to combine his worlds of music, and philosophy & self development to help himself, and hopefully others to get motivated to figure out how to build the lives they want. He values personal growth, kindness, and honesty. He is grateful to every single person who has joined this project, and to YOU, the one who read his whole 3rd person bio!
